Keeping Things on Track: Locomotive Livery Stencils

We were commissioned to produce paint stencils for a locomotive livery project with Locomotive Services Group, supporting the paint shop teams as they brought a new design to life.

Turning Design Into Reality

When it comes to locomotive liveries, it’s not just about how it looks on screen, it’s about how it transfers onto a full-sized, metal giant of a machine.

Our role was to create accurate, production-ready stencils that allowed the paint shop to recreate the design with consistency and precision. Every curve, stripe, and detail had to be spot on, so the finished livery matched the vision exactly.

Built for the Workshop

Paint shops are busy, fast-moving environments, so the stencils needed to be practical as well as precise. Easy handling, clear application points, and durability were key to making sure everything ran smoothly during the repaint process.
